Garden of Eden Dinner

On August 10th, The Blue Heron team, along with the Todd and Dean from Handtaste Ferments, Jessica from Tasty Plants, and Jamila (now at The Gluten Free Epicurean), had the unique pleasure of creating food for 130 guests. 

The event, co-produced by Farmacie and Feedlife, and set in the poplar grove at UBC farm, was a fundraiser for the Thrive Alive Foundation in honour and celebration nutritionist Eden Elizabeth's life, wife/partner of www.feedlife.ca owner, Colin Medhurst. 

This personal and moving event resonated closely for the Blue Heron team, and being able to create and serve food in a farm setting in celebration of someone who demonstrated a lived passion for ensuring access to education and information about well being and food was a highlight of the summer season. For more information about the organizations involved:
