Blue Heron Creamery, Handtaste Ferments and Exile Bistro present a 2 night pop up, The Cultured Table at Exile Bistro, 1220 Bute St., Vancouver, BC.
The Cultured Table dinner series is a continuation of the Blue Heron Chef series launched in April of this year. This dinner, at Exile, sets out to explore the diversity of flavour and texture offered by cultured foods.
Blue Heron's chefs Karen McAthy and Eden Chan collaborate with Todd Graham of Handtaste Ferments (@handtasteferments on twitter, instagram and facebook), to create 4 course menu that explores flavor and texture profiles, seasonal produce with a focus on local ingredients, that is a little playful and adventurous.
Exile's talented owner Vanessa Bourget, is crafting 4 unique cocktails for the evening, designed around the flavour profiles of the 4 courses, but can be ordered on their own.
